Our 6-Week Board & Train is designed for dogs who need more than basic obedience — it’s a full behavioral reset focused on confidence building, emotional stability, and reliable structure.
This program is ideal for dogs struggling with:
- Fearfulness or insecurity
- Reactivity (dogs, people, environments)
- Anxiety or overstimulation
- Lack of impulse control
- Inconsistent obedience
- Difficulty settling in the home
Program Focus
This is not just obedience training — it is a mindset transformation.
We focus on:
- Building neutral, calm behavior
- Developing environmental confidence
- Strengthening handler engagement
- Teaching clear structure and boundaries
- Creating emotional regulation and stability
Dogs learn how to think through situations instead of reacting to them.
What Your Dog Will Learn:
Foundational Obedience
- Place (duration and relaxation)
- Sit & Down with extended duration
- Structured recall

Confidence & Exposure Work

- Gradual environmental challenges
- Controlled dog neutrality work
- New surfaces, sounds, and scenarios
- Confidence-building drills and problem-solving exercises
We work at the dog’s pace — pushing growth without overwhelming.
Decompression Weekends (If Needed)
Because emotional resets require balance, some dogs benefit from periodic decompression.
If your dog needs a mental break:
- The dog will go home Friday afternoon
- Owners practice assigned structure and drills Saturday & Sunday
- The dog returns Monday to continue training
This ensures:
- Reduced stress buildup
- Real-world practice with owners
- Better long-term retention
- Stronger handler consistency
Not all dogs require decompression weekends — they are implemented when beneficial to the dog’s mental state.
Daily Structure During Training
Each training day includes:
- Multiple structured training sessions
- Calm place duration work
- Leash and engagement work
- Confidence-building exercises
- Exposure outings (as appropriate)
- Supervised rest periods to encourage an “off switch”
Dogs are taught not just how to perform — but how to regulate.
Owner Involvement:
Throughout the program, you will receive:
- Progress updates
- Homework assignments during decompression weekends
- A comprehensive go-home transfer session at completion
- Clear structure and maintenance guidance
Long-term success depends on owner consistency. This program trains both the dog and the handler.
Results You Can Expect
By the end of the 12 weeks, your dog should:
- Show significantly improved emotional stability
- Demonstrate better impulse control
- Walk calmly on leash
- Respond reliably to obedience commands
- Exhibit increased environmental confidence
- Settle calmly in the home
Important End Note
This program resets patterns — but maintenance is essential. Continued structure and follow-through at home ensure lasting transformation.
Tools Provided
To ensure consistency and long-term success, you will be sent home with the tools used during training, including:
